Dr. Bahari is founder and director of a private innovation center, CIGHTECH, focuses on generating innovative ideas, integrating collaborative research projects, high-tech project management, professional consultancy, discovering and mentoring new talents, commercialization of more developed ideas. He has held several positions such as guest assistant professor of physics at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, Marie Curie Research Fellow at Institute of Materials Research (IMR) at Leeds University, UK, postdoc at Department of Physics, and Center for Solar Energy Research and Applications (GÜNAM) at Middle East Technical University (METU), Turkey, Postdoctoral research fellow at Institute of Microengineering and Nanoelectronics (IMEN) at National University of Malaysia (UKM), researcher at Integrated Ligthwave Research Group (ILRG) at University of Malaya. He was awarded his PhD (photonic and plasmonic glasses) from Physics department of University Putra Malaysia (UPM), and also MSc (Superconductor ceramics with nanoparticles) and BSc on solid state physics from university of Tehran.
