Biography :

Dr. Ephraim Suhir, presently a Research Professor at Portland State University, USA, also,serving as a Visiting Professor at Technical University, Austria and an Adjunct Professor at James Cook University, Australia. He is also the Distinguished Member of Technical Staff, Bell Laboratories, Basic Research, Physical Sciences and Engineering Research Division, USA. He is currently on the board of faculty of the Electrical Engineering Dept. University of California. He is a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the American Physical Society, the Institute of Physics, UK, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and the Society of Plastics Engineers. He authored about 300 technical publications (patents, papers, book chapters, books). He is an editor of the Springer book series on physics, mechanics and packaging of microelectronic and photonic systems. He organized many successful conferences and symposia and presented numerous keynote and invited talks worldwide and has received many professional awards throughout his carrier. He was also elected as Foreign Full Member (Academician) of the National Academy of Engineering and Technological Sciences, Ukraine; as Fulbright Scholar, Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES), State Department, US; and as Editor, Silicon Valley Engineering Council (SVEC) Journal. He is Member of the Board of Governors and Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE CPMT (Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology) Society, Associate Editor of the IEEE CPMT Transactions on Advanced Packaging, Member of the ECTC (Electronic Components and Technology Conference) Applied Reliability Subcommittee, the IEEE CPMT award committee, the IEEE Fellow nomination committee, and the ASME General Awards committee.

Biography :

Dr Qi Zhang has a BSc in the field of Electrochemistry, an MSc in Inorganic Materials and a PhD in Sol-Gel Chemistry. He joined the Nanotechnology Centre at Cranfield University as a post-doctoral Research Officer in January 1996 following the completion of his PhD at Monash University. His first projects at Cranfield involved the development of sol-gel ferroelectric thin and thick films for the pyroelectric applications. In 1998 he was promoted to the position of senior research fellow, and then to Senior Lecturer in January 2007. Dr Zhang has been responsible for the growth of the materials on Microsystems and Nanotechnology and runs a research group that focuses on materials fabrication and the applications of nanoengineered materials to devices. He has over 15 years experience in the fabrication of nanostructured materials through sol-gel techniques, particularly in the fabrication of nano- or micro-particles with core-shell structure and thin and thick films. Recently he has been leading a group working in the fabrication of metal or metal oxide nanoparticles for their applications in micro engineering and nanotechnology. He is a Fellow in IOM3 and a chartered scientist in the Science Council. He has published more than 90 papers in refereed journals and conferences. He is a PI on current grant Exploring Giant Electrocaloric Effect and a CoI on current grant Integrated functional materials for system-in-package à applications He is also a Recognized Researcher on current grant PLATFORM GRANT RENEWAL: Nanoscale Multifunctional Ferroic Materials and Devices

Biography :

Ioannis Karapanagiotis is an Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Conservation of Ecclesiastical Cultural Heritage Objects, University Ecclesiastical Academy of Thessaloniki, Greece. He has obtained his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of Minnesota, United States, and his Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. His research interests are diverse ranging from wetting phenomena, interfacial engineering and nanomaterials to the development of novel methods for the protection/conservation of the cultural heritage and the characterization and analysis of cultural heritage materials which are found in historic monuments, paintings, icons, textiles, manuscripts. He serves as a member in Editorial Boards and reviewer in several journals (more than 90), and he has published multiple research papers (more than 140) in peer reviewed journals, books and conference proceedings.

Reza Jamshidi Rodbari is a Doctoral in Material Science and Engineering at the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil. He is the Member of the board, Executive Director at R & C Jam Catalyst Industrial Group, in the sector of energy sustainability and petrochemical industry. He has contributed himself by participating in events like International Congresses on Petrochemicals and Chemical Engineering in 2013 at San Antonio and also in 2014 at Las Vegas. He was the part of the organizing committee of the World Conference and Expo on Petrochemicals and Natural Resources during 2018 at Prague. He has two books with ISBN, an International Patent in the Catalyst Area and has 35 article publications.

Lourdes Cristina Lucena Agostinho Jamshidi is a Doctoral in Chemical Engineering, Masters of Mechanical Engineering-emphasis in Materials Science. She completed her Bachelors degree in Physics-Solid state, Industrial Chemistry and Chemistry. She is a specialist in the teaching of Mathematics by IMPA/UFPB and did her specialization course in chemistry EDX/MITX from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and 22 courses of Human Resources in Oil and Natural Gas Program (PRH-28), National Petroleum Agency-Natural Gas (ANP) PETROBRAS (Brazil). She has more than 60 publications on international and national journals (Environment, Education and Technology of Petroleum).She is also the reviewer of International Journal of Elsevier and other National scientific journals and contributed herself by partcipating in International Congresses of Omics on Petrochemicals and Chemical Engineering and also the part of the organizing committee of the World Conference and Expo on Petrochemicals and Natural Resources in the year 2018 at Prague. She is the author of two Books with ISBN and has an International Patent in Catalyst Area.

Terms and Conditions

Responsibility

Delegates are personally responsible for their belongings at the venue. The Organizers will not be held responsible for any stolen or missing items belonging to Delegates, Speakers or Attendees; due to any reason whatsoever.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind.

Transportation

Please note that any (or) all transportation and parking is the responsibility of the registrant.

Press/Media

Press permission must be obtained from Allied Academies Organizing Committee prior to the event. The press will not quote speakers or delegates unless they have obtained their approval in writing. The Allied academies are a non-profit organization. This conference is not associated with any commercial meeting company.

Requesting an Invitation Letter

For security purposes, letter of invitation will be sent only to those individuals who had registered for the conference. Once your registration is complete, please contact materialscience@materialsscienceconference.com  to request a personalized letter of invitation.

Regarding refunds, all bank charges will be for the registrant's account.

Cancellation, Postponement and Transfer of Registration

All cancellations or modifications of registration must be made in writing to Program Manager(materialscience@materialsscienceconference.comorfinance@alliedacademies.com).

Cancellation Policy

If Allied academies cancel this event for any reason, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another Allied Academies Conferences (AAC) event which must occur within one year from the date of cancellation.

Postponement

If Allied academies postpone an event for any reason and you are unable or unwilling to attend on rescheduled dates, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another Allied Academies Conferences event which must occur within one year from the date of postponement.

Transfer of registration

All fully paid registrations are transferable to other persons from the same organization if registered person is unable to attend the event. Transfers must be made by the registered person in writing to Program Manager. Details must be included with the full name of replacement person, their title, contact phone number and email address. All other registration details will be assigned to the new person unless otherwise specified.

Registration can be transferred to one conference to another conference of Allied academies if the person is unable to attend one of conferences.

However, Registration cannot be transferred if it is intimated within 14 days of the respective conference.

The transferred registrations will not be eligible for Refund.

Visa Information

Keeping in view of increased security measures, we would like to request all the participants to apply for Visa as soon as possible.

Allied Academies will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants. All delegates or invitees should apply for Business Visa only.

Important note for failed visa applications: Visa issues cannot come under the consideration of cancellation policy of Allied Academies, including the inability to obtain a visa.

Refund Policy

If the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her participation to another person or event, then the following refund arrangements apply:

Keeping in view of advance payments towards Venue, Printing, Shipping, Hotels and other overheads, we had to keep Refund Policy is as following slabs-

·         Before 60 days of the conference: Eligible for Full Refund less $100 service Fee

·         Within 60-30 days of Conference: Eligible for 50% of payment Refund

·         Within 30 days of Conference: Not eligible for Refund

·         E-Poster Payments will not be refunded.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy

Accommodation Providers (Hotels) have their own cancellation policies, and they generally apply when cancellations are made less than 30 days prior to arrival. Please contact us as soon as possible, if you wish to cancel or amend your accommodation. Allied Academies will advise the cancellation policy of your accommodation provider, prior to cancelling or amending your booking, to ensure you are fully aware of any non-refundable deposits.
